EAST TRAIL DEDICATIONSleds at Clubhouse
& PRESIDENT'S RIDE

What a great day for a ride! Over 30 snowmobiles & riders participated in the President's Ride & dedication of our new section of trail. The group started out at the Ranger City Riders' Amberg Clubhouse the morning of February 23rd.

The ride was led by club president, Terry Williams. The group wound east from Amberg through a section of Peminee Riders' trail to our new East Trail. Club members, landowners, friends & family enjoyed the morning riding across the new section of trail.

The riders followed the East Trail until nearing Wausaukee, where they stopped and gathered for the ribbon cutting & dedication. Terry Williams gave a brief speech on the events leading up to the opening of the long-awaited trail, and credited Al Baeden's persistence for its completion. He then cut the ribbon, officially opening the East Trail.

A well-deserved round of applause went up for those that worked so hard to complete the trail. Well done!

Afterwards, the riders continued on to Newingham's in Wausaukee, where they gathered for a club-sponsored luncheon and the great times & good fellowship that the group always enjoys.

The trail map shows our new East Trail highlighted in purple.

If you're not an active member of a club - you're missing out on one of the best parts of snowmobiling!
